A dish that has been up for a long time may still look fine from the ground while its LNB, connectors and cable have quietly degraded. Symptoms creep in: the picture breaks up in the evening, some channels drop out, or the decoder shows a no-signal error after rain. We test each part of the chain and replace only what is worn, which is often cheaper than people expect.

Older decoders are another common issue. If yours is no longer supported or keeps failing, we can explain the current options and install and set up the replacement.

It is also worth checking the bracket. Steel that has rusted around the bolts can let a dish drift a little in every storm, and replacing a bracket is a small job compared with chasing the same fault again and again.

During a lightning storm, unplugging the decoder from the wall is the simplest protection we can recommend.
